Procedures and Policies for a Successful Pet Service

We want everyone to clearly understand the roles and responsibilities, from pet sitters to pet owners.

Meet and Greet Visit: Please take a few minutes to review before we meet.

We will conduct an initial visit between Enchanting Pets Management and the pet family, which is required to customize and optimize each visit’s performance. Please schedule this at least 3 days before the care visit. Prior to the Meet and Greet visit, we will send you a welcome letter via email. Kindly complete your information and the pet details on our website before our meeting. This includes your address, contact information, all necessary details, and instructions for each pet’s care.

During this visit, Enchanting Pets will interact with the pet owners and pets, discussing and observing each pet’s routine. We’ll also address any questions the pet owner may have and locate pet-related supplies.

Please have an extra key available at the Meet and Greet or provide any special instructions for entry into your home or place. Enchanting Pets recommends having a couple of entry methods, such as a keyless pad, front door lock, or garage code entry. The key will be placed in a lockbox hidden on your property. Clients can provide the lockbox or purchase one from Enchanting Pets. We also offer a keyless pad and installation for an additional cost, always ensuring the key is left inside the lockbox.

Each of our pet sitters has a clean background check, is fully insured, and follows the instructions you provide in our online system. Your home and pets are our responsibility from the moment we start taking care of them. Enchanting Pets must be the sole caregiver for your pets. If another service, landlord, or cleaning service is scheduled at the same time as our service, we may need to reschedule. Please ensure that dates do not conflict with our service schedule. For the safety of our staff and the security of your home, we will not open the door for anybody or interact with anyone other than the pet. If someone knows the pet while we are in a service outside with the pet, we will not allow them to interact with the pet or the staff.

We operate as a team and maintain open communication with every pet owner on every visit, ensuring you always have peace of mind.

Reservations: For your first pet sitting, it is best to schedule several days in advance to allow time for our Meet and Greet Visit. Please note that the Meet and Greet should be scheduled with no less than 48 hours’ notice. After your first booking is complete, you can request visits at any time. We recommend booking at least 1-2 days in advance to ensure we can accommodate you. During holidays, we recommend booking several weeks in advance.
